A recently qualified Registered Nurse with previous professional experience in district nursing and clinical teams, I am seeking a challenging position in community nursing.

District Enrolled Nurse, working in the community as a Clinic Nurse in a busy Out-Patient Department.  On two occasions of prolonged absence of the Out-Patient Sister.  I was given the opportunity to run the Out-Patient Dept, and experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.  Devised wound-care assessment tool, which is currently in operation.
 
1993-1998         Drayton Lodge Private Nursing Home
Responsible for 25-bed unit, 2 evenings per week.  Work included supervising two care assistants, ensuring management of personal and clinical care needs of elderly clients.
 
1986-1993         Longton District General Community Evening Service
Working three evenings per week, I visited patients in their own homes, providing a caring and individual service.  Developed ability to work on my own initiative.
